USDA Announces Broadband Funding for Wave Wireless, LLC

This $2,476,588 million award, will allow Wave Wireless, L.L.C. to expand a current fixed wireless network to new locations in Cherokee, Crawford, Labette, and Neosho Counties in order to provide high-speed Internet access services. Approximately 7,225 people stand to benefit, as do roughly 2,106 businesses and 72 community institutions. In addition to the jobs this project will support upfront, it will provide a foundation for economic growth and job creation for decades to come.
